The FX50 is the newest camera in the FX series.  This midwave hyperspectral camera is sensitive in the 2.7-5.3 µm range.  The FX50 is a high-speed, accurate and efficient spectral camera specifically designed for industrial applications.
Operating in the MWIR region, this camera can be used to identify and sort the difficult black plastics, analyze hydrocarbons and minerals, and detect contamination on metal surfaces quickly and reliably.
