Specim FENIX hyperspectral camera

Hyperspectral Data from VNIR to SWIR in a Single Continuous Image

The Specim FENIX is optimized for the most demanding geological, law enforcement and environmental applications, offering extreme ruggedness and 75% reduction in size and weight compared to previous multi-sensor systems. Due to it's innovative and unique "single optics dual spectrograph" design, the FENIX delivers high-quality, reliable hyperspectral data spanning VNIR to SWIR in a single continuous image.

Key Features:

  • Complete spectral range from 380 to 2500 nm
  • Up to 620 spectral bands
  • Readily co-registered data with single fore optic
  • All spectral bands spatially co-registered, independent of target distance
  • Maximized sensitivity and SNR

Specim FENIX 384

The Specim FENIX 384 features 384 spatial pixels across the VNIR-SWIR range. It operates with default binning of 2 spectral x 2 spatial pixels, providing a spectral sampling of 1.75 nm which is unnecessarily narrow for most applications. This allows for higher spectral binning capabilities while still delivering the required spectral resolution, simultaneously increasing the signal to noise ratio.

Specim FENIX 1K

The Specim FENIX 1K captures the same top-quality full VNIR-SWIR hyperspectral data across 1024 spatial pixels, taking productivity of hyperspectral imaging to an entirely new level. This is an ideal solution for applications requiring fine spatial resolution across a continuous VNIR/SWIR spectral range, and remote sensing where users can reduce the number of flight lines required or opt to collect data with higher accuracy when flying at the same height.

Specim FENIX Key Benefits:

  • Completely Integrated Full VNIR-SWIR Data
  • Maximum Sensitivity and SNR
  • Single Optimized Objective Lens
  • All Spectral Bands Spatially Co-Registered

Ideal Solution For:

  • Environmental Monitoring on Fixed-Wing Aircraft
  • Real-Time Airborne Detection
  • Law Enforcement & Defence Applications
  • Mineral Exploration and Mineral Mapping
