Delivering More Accurate Per-Pixel Colour Values

JAI's 3-sensor prism-based imaging technique delivers more accurate per-pixel colour values than what is obtained using Bayer Mosaic technique. Incoming light is split via a prism onto three precisely aligned CMOS sensors, each capturing a discrete spectral band (RGB or NIR enhanced). This results in more accurate colour values than those derived from Bayer colour cameras with interpolation routines.

By also enhancing the spatial resolution, more accurate edge detection and resolving of smaller details is possible.
